A WINCHESTER man was caught driving in the city centre, a court heard.
Oliver Coakes, 34, was in a 54-reg Vauxhall Astra when stopped by officers on Magdalen Hill on February 10.
Coakes, of Monks Road, Abbotts Barton, denied the charge of being unfit to drive through drugs but was convicted at a trial at Aldershot Magistrates Court
Another similar charge committed in the car park at Tesco off Easton Lane, Winnall, on February 12 was dismissed when the magistrates found Coakes not guilty.
Coakes was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £328, ordered to pay £620 prosecution costs and a £32 surcharge to fund victim services.
