A WINCHESTER singing group have been spreading cheer across local hospitals.
The Tudor Roses, attired in suitably Christmassy costumes, sang carols and other songs from their repertoire for charitable causes.
On Monday last week the barber shop harmony chorus sang at Southampton General Hospital in aid of the hospital’s charity.
Then last Saturday the Winchester-based chorus was at Sainsbury’s in Badger Farm, Winchester, dressed in festive carol singers’ outfits, in aid of Wessex Cancer Trust.
The proceeds from both performances are being totted up.
