MORE than 100 sheltered housing tenants got together to celebrate Christmas at the Holiday Inn, Winchester.
The tenants were provided with a three-course meal and entertainment, including carols by Winnall Primary School Choir and festive tunes from Winchester UKE Jam. They were also treated to a Christmas-themed quiz and a raffle.
This festive gathering was organised by Winchester City Council.
Residents, who came from across the city, thanked the council for organising the “wonderful party” and said they enjoyed the chance to socialise with other tenants.
Council Leader and Portfolio Holder for Housing, Cllr Caroline Horrill, right, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to provide some festive cheer for our tenants."
