DURING the Christmas period, Winchester City Council service will be subject to the following closures:
Council Offices
Closed from 4pm on December 24 until January 2. In the event of an emergency, customers should call 01962 865 407 or for housing emergencies call 01962 865 405.
Tourist Information Centre
Closed from December 24 until unconfirmed date in 2019.
Park and Ride
There will be no service on December 25, 26 or January 1.
Public Toilets
The toilets at Market Lane and Abbey Gardens will be open on Christmas Day. All other facilities will be closed on Christmas Day and will re-open Boxing Day.
Refuse and Recycling Collections
Revised refuse and recycling collection days from Christmas Day, normal bin collections resume January 14. The revised timetable is available at www.winchester.gov.uk/waste-recycling.
Guildhall
Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day and will be open 10am until 4pm on December 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31.
