A WINCHESTER man has been fined £500 for speeding on a country road near the city.
Neil Watson, 45, was clocked driving at 50mph in a 30-zone while driving an 18-reg Audi on the B3047 at Martyr Worthy on July 29.
He admitted the offence when he appeared at Aldershot Magistrates Court.
Watson, of Complin Place, Weeke, was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and costs of £85. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
