A CHILD has sold her toys to help a Romsey band targeted by thefts.
Romsey Primary School pupil Olivia Nichols decided to sell her toys, games and books to raise money for the Romsey Old Cadets.
This comes after the band's instruments were stolen in August this year.
The seven-year-old from Romsey has now raised £200 in support of the band.
Her mum Carly Hendley, 33, a senior carer from Romsey, said: "We were discussing how to raise some money and Olivia said 'I can sell all my toys'. She was over the moon when she started selling her toys. She will now walk with the cadets at the Winter Carnival. She's so excited. She can't wait, she's telling everybody about it."
