A WINCHESTER man guilty of a string of violent offences has been jailed.
Michael Bernard Frederick Coles, 53, of Cromwell Road, Stanmore, attacked a pregnant woman Claire Hall, a court was told.
It was a sustained attack involving a kick and verbal abuse, a breach of trust and he was in drink at the time.
Coles admitted the charge after initially denying it. He was jailed for 22 weeks.
He also denied assaulting an Ellie Watson on August 24, when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court. But he was convicted after a trial.
Magistrates jailed him for 11 weeks, to run concurrently, saying it was a serious assault on a public servant.
Coles changed his plea to guilty of obstructing a PC Flynn on August 31.
An allegation he assaulted Jayne Miles on August 24 was denied and Coles was cleared after a trial.
Coles also admitted two charges of threatening behaviour on August 24.
He was also ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.
