MORE than 525 zombies, ghosts, giant pumpkins and ghouls raced round a Hampshire park in aid of charity.
And organisers say this year’s Monster Dash in aid of Wessex Cancer Trust has raised at least £7,000.
The event at North Walls Recreation Ground in Winchester was a three kilometre fun run and included six “massive” inflatable obstacles.
Organiser Rachel Coombs said: “The outfits were amazing - there was some incredible fancy dress.
“The numbers were massive - more than we expected.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone for the support. We really appreciate it.”
The cash will go to the charity’s six centres, in Chandler’s Ford, Hythe, Cosham, Isle of Wight, Salisbury and Bournemouth.
They are for anyone affected by cancer.
