A TEENAGER caught drink driving on a quiet country lane has been banned from the road for 17 months.
Lewis Martin Dallimore, 19, was breathalysed after driving a Nissan Micra on Whaddon Lane, near Owslebury on September 23.
His reading was 61 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35.
Dallimore, of Elm Road, Bishop's Waltham, admitted the charge when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
As well as the ban Dallimore was fined £196, with as £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
The 17-month ban will be cut by 17 weeks if he passes an approved course by September 10 2019.
