SENDING a threatening text message to a woman has cost a Winchester man up to 20 days of his time.
Stephen Stuart Sherwood, 25, pleaded guilty to sending the text on August 30, a court heard.
Sherwood, of Garbett Road, Winnall, also admitted criminal damage to a door owned by Amber Residential Care in Winchester on August 27.
Magistrates in Basingstoke imposed a community order on him with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days.
They also fined him £100 with £30 costs and ordered he pay £100 compensation for the damaged door.
