YOUNG adventurers were out in force despite the rain for an annual fundraiser.
Treefest at John Keble Primary School in Hursley was a chance for children to climb trees and get involved with some very creative crafts.
Experts in abseiling were on hand to give advice on how to make your way up through the branches, while cake sales, a barbecue and craft activities were all a bid to raise cash for the school.
Organiser Cheryl Rickman said: "We started it to raise money for our outdoors classroom. Over the last five years we have raised about £20,000 with lots of other events. We have now built the classrooms. This is just to finish off - it's an extra one to raise money for the school and boost funds."
There was also a Big Friendly Giant themed cave, where youngsters could fill jars with magical ingredients in a dream-catching bid - just like the characters in the famous Roald Dahl book.
