HENRY Beaufort School has been included the in annual Parliamentary Review for Secondary Education.

This edition of the review showcases the selected school’s best practice as a learning tool for others.

The key idea is to demonstrate how organisations have become leaders in their field.

It will be sent out to thousands of leading policymakers, including MPs, Peers at the House of Lords, Headteachers, Vice-Chancellors, Government Agencies and the Department for Education.

Headteacher Sue Hearle said: “This is a tremendous honour for the school and a very well deserved accolade for the staff. I am delighted that we were invited to contribute to this prestigious publication based on our academic excellence.”

The article featuring Henry Beaufort in the review will concentrate on the school’s approach to the development of independent learning skills for all of its students.

The secondary school in Harestock calls this ‘habit building’, which has resulted in consecutive annual improvements in GCSE results.
