FOOTPATH works on a main road in Romsey will close a well-used turning junction for eight weeks.
Hampshire County Council footway works on Winchester Hill will mean that, from July 30, no vehicles will be able to turn right from Winchester Hill down Cupernham Lane.
Though the closure is listed for three months, bosses say works are expected to last for eight weeks, and will prevent the manoeuvre at all times.
Alternative routes are listed as travelling westbound towards Jermyns Lane or north on Braishfield Road, both to continue west on Sandy Lane and south on Cupernham Lane.
The works are aimed at bringing the footway up to the agreed standard.
