POLICE have launched an investigation after three men broke into a Chandler's Ford newsagent in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Officers say the men smashed the glass in the front door of Andersons News, in Hiltingbury Road, at around 3.30am.
They then made off with cigarettes and vaping equipment. It not yet known what the value of the stolen stock is.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said they are appealing for anyone who saw two motorbikes acting suspiciously in the area at that time to call 101, quoting reference '44180172294'.
The spokesman added that they are not linking this to any other incidents, including the recent spate of ram-raid on business in Hampshire.
