A WINCHESTER man who has failed to pay a fine imposed ten years ago has been given a last chance.
Magistrates in Basingstoke heard an application for Gerald Clay to be jailed for non-payment of £370 imposed in March 2008.
Clay, 51, of Harwood Place, Kings Worthy, who was not present in court, was jailed for 45 days but it was suspended to allow Clay the chance to pay the amount off at the rate of £20 a month with the first payment due on May 7.
