A water main has burst on Winchester High Street.
Water burst through the cracks of the cobbles just outside Rawlings Opticians, and nearly soaked a delivery man making his rounds.
Luckily a van from Southern Water passed by the scene moments later, the water was turned off and work to fix the leaky trunk main began almost immediately.
Rob Boyce, Local distribution inspector who was on the scene looking for the source of the leak said: "We were lucky to get to it quickly before it could do any damage."
"Hopefully it should be fixed by the end of the day. We just have to get through the concrete."
No businesses have been affected by the leak except for a slight loss in pressure.
Dispensary Assistant at Rawlings opticians, Rebekah Murphy captured footage of the leaky main on her phone.
