Garages targeted in Hampshire area
GARAGES have been targeted by thieves in a village near Winchester.
Police say that there have been a number of burglaries to garages in the Kings Worthy area near Winchester on August 16 and 17.
They have now issued advice to garage owners.
Police sergeant Bethan Wood wrote on Hampshire Alert: "If you own or rent a garage please check it is secure. If there is any damage or you have been victim of a burglary please call police on 101 to report the incident."
Police have now stepped up their efforts to find the culprit or culprits and anyone with information should quote the crime reference number 44170317977 when speaking to police.
