HUNDREDS of people challenged themselves by taking party in a charity obstacle course.
More than 900 people took part in the Gauntlet Games, which raises money for Naomi House and Jacksplace in Sutton Scotney.
The new charity event took place at the Matterley Bowl Estate and Naomi House were forced to open additional waves to meet demand.
People got the chance to race in a series of gladiator zones, which included giant inflatables, and even monkey bars which stooped over pools of water.
The event helped to raise £40,000 towards Naomi House's care costs.
Marketing Manager at Naomi House & Jacksplace, Keith Wilson said: "Just shy of 900 people took part, and they have already raised more than £40,000 towards our care costs. The event was a fabulous success with people tackling 28 obstacles on the 5k course and 41 on the 10k course. Everyone was in extremely high spirits despite the occasional monsoon.
"We are especially grateful to the team at Matterley Bowl for allowing us to use their spectacular venue, and of course to our volunteers who helped in a variety of ways throughout the day."
