A FORMER teacher has been charged with sex offences as part of a Hampshire Police investigation.
Richard John Hilary, 66, was charged with 15 offences involving teenage girls in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Hilary, of Northend Drive, Droxford, was a teacher when the alleged offences took place.
The charges are part of Operation Marmion, Hampshire Constabulary's ongoing review of non-recent child sexual exploitation and abuse cases.
The operation also involves child protection specialists from a number of local authorities.
Officers say previous victims of child sexual exploitation or anyone with information of similar crimes can contact detectives at the Souther Training Headquarters by phoning 101.
Alternatively victims can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111
