FORECASTERS have warned that snow could hit Hampshire later this week.
As temperatures start to drop the Met Office says that we could be seeing snowfall this week.
However, don't get your skis and sledges out just yet - as it will not hit until at least Thursday, if at all.
It would be wise to wear plenty of layers because the Arctic blast will see temperatures plummet to two degrees on Friday, which will feel more like minus three degrees due to wind chill.
Today the weather will be fairly uneventful with a cloudy and largely dry start with a possibility of rain.
The Met Office say that from Tuesday the colder weather will arrive.
In a forecast on their website about the outlook for the region for Tuesday to Thursday they say: "Brisk winds, sometimes bright, but rain later Tuesday into early Wednesday.
"Turning colder on Wednesday with sunshine and isolated showers. Cold, sometimes sunny, but with snow showers on Thursday."
