THEY dressed up to celebrate the end of secondary school.
Hundreds of pupils across the Winchester area partied in style as they geared up for college life.
At Kings’ School, students arrived in a double-decker bus to the occasion held at the school on Romsey Road.
Meanwhile, teenagers from Perins School in Alresford arrived in a range of exotic cars, including a Ferrari. Boys were suited and booted while the girls wore glamorous gowns as they arrived for the event held at Oakley Hall near Basingstoke.
Perins School
Pupils from Test Valley school in Stockbridge had the furthest journey as they headed to Larmer Tree Gardens near Tollard Royal on the Wiltshire-Dorset border.
However, this hardly dampened the celebrations as pupils danced the night away with friends.
l This week’s Hampshire Chronicle contains a special 16-page prom supplement, starting on page 29. featured are Westgate, Kings’, Perins, Swanmore, Test Valley, Romsey, Thornden and Mountbatten.
