WINCHESTER City Council has admitted that grass cutting in the area is behind schedule.
The council say that the monthly amenity grass cutting programme for the Winchester District and East Hampshire District is six to eight days behind.
A notice on the council’s website stated: “We are working with our contractor to put a catch-up plan in place and this plan includes weekend and evening working.”
They added the contacts monitoring team will work with the contractor to bring the work up to speed.
