THIS is the moment a resident witnessed a village telephone box allegedly being bombed in the early hours of this morning.
A massive bang woke residents in Bishop’s Waltham this morning after a blaze started inside a phone box.
The phone box, based in The Avenue in the Meon Valley village, was engulfed in flames at around 3am and witnesses have said they saw a group of people running from the scene.
One resident, Chris Barfoot, said that electricity was cut off for around 20 minutes after the incident.
