NEARLY 200 solar panels are set to be installed on farmland near Droxford under plans submitted to South Downs National Park.
James Gibbings wants to install 180 PV panels on Watton Farm, east of Brockbridge, generating 49.5kWp of electricity.
Planning agent SunSmart Energy has chosen a “very low-profile mounting structure” to minimise visual impact, according to proposals submitted to national park planners.
Officers previously described the proposed panels’ height as “modest”.
