THE Army is holding a training day near Winchester on Saturday (MAY31) for people interested in becoming a reservist.

One hundred people have been invited to Sir John Moore Barracks to take part in Exercise Roebuck Insight 2.

There will be a series of stands which will test people’s aptitude for military service, including a close combat simulator.

The Ministry of Defence wants to increase the Army’s Reserve Force to 30,000-strong.
