MOURNERS will gather at Winchester Cathedral on Friday to remember teenager Eddie Pearse.
The 18-year-old talented sportsman died when he was struck by a freight train at Winchester Railway Station on Friday, February 7.
The former Westgate School and Peter Symonds College student, of Western Road, Fulflood, was a keen footballer and played for Littelton Leopards junior team up until he was 16.
He had just recently started an apprenticeship in business administration at Age Concern Hampshire
in St Cross Road, Winchester.
The service is from 11.30am with flowers or donations to The Samaritans.
