Romsey has been put on a fresh flood alert. Environment Agency officials say water levels on the River Test are increasing slowly in response to recent rainfall.
Water levels around Romsey are what the Environment Agency described on Tuesday as “high” but holding steady.
Flooding of land and some low lying areas has already happened including at Fishlake Meadows and the aptly named Romsey World of Water in Greatbridge Road.
The Environment Agency say more flooding is “possible” as levels continue to rise over the next few days.
