THE Mayor of Winchester will host a charity networking event next week.
Cllr Ernie Jeffs welcomes the local branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association to Abbey House, The Broadway, on Wednesday, June 26.
Winchester businesses are also invited to learn about the disease and how the association works to provide research, care and support.
Pam Fry, MNDA spokesman, said: “We are so grateful for such an amazing venue and look forward to telling local business about motor neurone disease and how we support people locally. Even fairly small businesses tend to choose a charity of the year nowadays and we would like them to consider us as a regional branch of a national charity where the money is raised locally and spent locally.”
