EASTON resident Philip Snowden has denied a charge of fraud when he appeared at magistrates court yesterday.
Snowden, 62, is accused of making a false representation on February 24 by claiming he was employed by South Central Ambulance Service to gain £389.70 for jury service.
He elected for trial by jury and magistrates at Basingstoke sent the case for trial at Winchester Crown Court with a hearing scheduled for April 30. Snowden was released on unconditional bail.
