RHODES Brian Thomas Brian passed away peacefully at home on 27th October 2023, aged 93. Much loved husband of 65 years to his late wife, Kay, father to Cal, Andy, Deb and Di and grandfather to Alex, Leafy, Lucien and Heloise. He was dearly loved by so many people and will be hugely missed. Brian was an eternal optimist with a ready smile, who lived life to the full. A keen sailor, railway modeller, walker and legendary party thrower, he was a huge character who cared deeply about his family and friends. Service to be held at Basingstoke Crematorium on Friday 10th November at 4.15pm. Family flowers only please, donations will benefit RNLI Richard Steel & Partners, Alderman House, 12-14 City Road, Winchester SO23 8SD

Brian and I played bridge together at Badger Farm for more than six years. It was always fun to play with Brian - he had a great sense of humour and, although he liked to do well, was happy to accept our limitations. The pandemic ended our bridge partnership unfortunately.
He was a lovely man and I am privileged to have known him.
