MUNDY Reginald George Arthur Former Landlord of The Richmond Inn, Portswood and latterly The Phoenix Inn, Twyford. Reg passed away at home on 6th October 2022, aged 88. Loving Husband of the late Anne, Father to Gill and the late Paul. It was a happy release from pain and confusion, he can rest in peace now pulling pints in the sky. Funeral Service at Wessex Vale Crematorium, West End on Monday 7th November at 1.45 pm. Please join us back at The Phoenix Inn after the service to raise a glass in his memory. I knew Reg back in the late 60’s . He worked for
DelaRue Bull . He serviced the machines at the Lower Barracks, M.OD. Where I worked in the machine wing.
At that time I lived in Colden Common, which was on Reg’s way home. He often gave me a lift home but made sure the other machine girls saw him touch my knee and have a laugh. He was always a happy person.
I am sorry for your loss.
