MOODY Frank Alfred 15th December 1924 8th January 2022 Mrs Mary Brennan would like to thank all those who attended the funeral of her twin brother, Mr Frank Moody at St. Margaret's Church, East Wellow on Wednesday 26th January and the Romsey Royal British Legion representative and standard bearers for their attendance. Frank, who did so much over so many years for the village that he loved, would have appreciated your presence. During his long life, Frank had so many friends in the village. He was a staunch member, raising funds for the Royal British Legion. His book "Wartime Memories" first published in 1997, and catalogued by the British Library, raised funds for the Poppy Appeal. His book and the tape of the book, narrated by himself, can still be obtained from me, at a cost of £8.00 each, at Roewood Cottage, Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst, SO43 7DA, Tel: 02380 283625, with proceeds going to The Poppy Appeal.
