After the success of the ‘Love Local Business’ campaign earlier this year in partnership with the Hampshire Chronicle and Winchester City Council, the BID has teamed up with the Chronicle again.

As an extension to the ‘Love Local Business’ campaign, the BID launched ‘Safe and Open’ last month which supported the many businesses which reopened in the city centre on 12 April, with an online photo gallery, social media campaign and special printed features in the Chronicle

Now as restaurants and public houses reopened on 17 May and welcomed customers inside, we have put together a gallery of all those who have got in contact to celebrate their reopening. To view the gallery, click here

During the first lockdown in March last year the BID launched its Support Your Local Businesses campaign online, on social media and in the local press. The BID has also been sharing updates from Winchester businesses every day on social media. Businesses can tag @WinchesterBID and use #HelloWinchester in their social media posts for a story share on Facebook and Instagram or a retweet on Twitter. Social media users can follow @WinchesterBID or #HelloWinchester for the latest updates.
