The Osbourne family will not be returning to the small screen.
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, with their children Kelly and Jack, had been rumoured to star in a new reality TV series for VH1, a remake of their MTV fly-on-the-wall documentary.
“We are no longer talking to the Osbournes about a series; that’s not going to happen,” VH1′s Susan Levison told The Hollywood Reporter.
“We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn’t come together for us. The family has been absolutely lovely and we wish them the best. We’d love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future.”
However, Kelly revealed she was in the dark over plans for a revived series.
The Osbournes was a hit reality show on MTV for three years from 2002 to 2005, and Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy became a comedy figure, wandering around the house confused, shouting ‘Sharon!’.
Sharon told ITV’s Loose Women in November last year that they were in talks to do “a few more episodes”.
