AN exhibition entitled Art With a Twist, by Sonia Keen, is at Gilbert White’s House in Selborne this weekend.
It runs from Saturday, April 11, to Saturday, April 25, and takes the colours, textures and beauty of nature as its inspiration.
She combines painting with thread work to create her own art form of freestyle needle painting.
Using close weave cotton, silk or velvet as a canvas, she overlays various lengths and types of stitch work. Normal admission charges to the museum in Selborne High Street include entry to the exhibition.
