A LAW firm in Basingstoke has launched a new division of its company.

Lamb Brooks, in Winchester Street, have launched a new division working with clients who need additional planning or advice when it comes to protecting their wealth.

With family set-ups becoming more complex, families will need more protection when it comes to embarking on new relationships, including children from previous marriages in their succession planning or making gifts for children to buy their first home.

These are some of the areas that the Wealth Protection Team can give bespoke advice on.

The team comprises of James Phipps, partner in the private client department, Rob Parker, associate solicitor in the family law team and Melanie Roberts, associate solicitor in the property law team.

Together, the team of experts are able to advise clients on more complex matters that require input from more than one area of the law.

Well-rounded, considered advice gives clients peace of mind and will save them going to different firms or interacting with different departments trying to piece together the advice from difficult people.

The Wealth Protection Team work with accountants, financial advisers, personal bank managers and other professionals to give legal guidance where needed – this joined up approach to working benefits the client too, with all parties working to the client’s own objectives.
