HOMEBUILDER David Wilson Homes is using an electric car at its Spiers Meadow development in Basingstoke as an eco-friendly solution to transport at the site.
The electric BMW I3 is being used as a cost-effective and environmentally friendly way for the sales team at the Carter Drive development to transport customers around the site.
Due to the scale of this new community, this provides an easy way for potential homebuyers to enjoy a tour of the site.
Rob Allen, sales director at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “Spiers Meadow is an important development for us in Basingstoke and the sheer size of it means our sales advisers will need a means of showing prospective buyers around the site.
“We’re pleased with the electric car; it provides an excellent solution for the team, that’s both environmentally-friendly and cost-effective for the time we will be here.”
