AN INTREPID dental practice team, who scaled the heights of Mount Snowden, are now set to take to the water in their ongoing mission to support a cancer charity.
Every year, the staff at Imogen Dental make a difference to a deserving cause.
In 2017, they raised £9,200 for Ark Cancer Centre Charity, and the cancer treatment centre project it is helping to fund, by trekking up the Welsh mountain.
Now, on Monday, the team, who work at practices in Kingsclere and Benson, in Oxfordshire, will be taking part in The Crafty Craft Race, in Newbury.
The event sees teams race home-made rafts from Kintbury to Newbury along a canal.
Dr Neel Tank founded Imogen Dental in 2005.
He said: “
There’s no question that The Crafty Craft Race won’t be anywhere near as demanding as the Snowden trek, but we hope that we will have a lot of fun and raise a further £2,500 for this very good local cause.”

The centre will provide support services and complementary therapies available alongside chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments in a calm and uplifting environment.
The new cancer treatment centre is largely being funded by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and will be built on the Basingstoke hospital site.
