A well-known face has returned to Romsey’s retail scene.
Nick Michell, former a manager of Romsey Market, has opened a pop-up shop in the run-up to Christmas in Bell Street. The store stocks well-know brand men’s clothing at discount prices.
Since leaving Romsey, Nick has opened two successful retail outlets – one at Poole Pottery and the other at Rownhams Services on the M27.
If Nick’s new shop is a success he hopes to retain a permanent presence in Romsey.
Shopkeeping is in the family blood. His grandfather ran a tailors in Lymington and he still has his 1910 cash register, which he is using in his new shop, which is called Royle and Cavendish.
