PILE Christopher William Martin Passed away on Wednesday the 12th of May 2021 at The Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester following a short illness, aged 79. The only and beloved child of the late William and Eva Christina Pile of Winchester. Christopher, a chartered mathematician, electrical and civil engineer was highly respected in his field. Christopher was much loved by his wider family. With a variety of hobbies and interests and significant participation in Winchester's spiritual and civil life, Christopher will be much missed by many. The funeral and a celebration of his life will take place at St Pauls Church, Winchester on the 9th of June 2021 at 10.30 a.m.

We were so saddened to hear the news of Kit's passing. We have been talking to him lately on the telephone, as luck would have it, so it has been so nice to catch up with him as it has been a few years since we have visited the U.K. May you rest in peace dear Kit. Fondest love, Andrew, Merle and Daniel.
