GOODEVE Lionel Richard (Dick) Passed away peacefully on 26th June 2020, aged 81. A much loved father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be greatly missed. Private funeral. Donations, if desired, to the RNLI, c/o Kemp and Stevens, 93 High Street, Alton GU34 1LG.

I have only discovered this news this evening! Brings back lots of memories of attending Sunday morning badminton lessons in Perins sports hall. Dick was an inspiration to me. And I learnt so much.
Most of which I carried with me into adulthood. I learnt to never give up and keep going. I feel hugely in debt to Dick. He was incredibly generous with his time coaching kids.
I will always remember him.
