FOLLOWS William Frederick ( Bill ) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William ( Bill ) Frederick Follows, of Bassett, Southampton and formerly of Bishopstoke, in his 95th Year. Beloved husband of the late Joan Follows and loving father of Janice ( Viv ) Williams, Malcolm ( Alina ) Follows and Grandsons Andrew and Stephen Follows. He was predeceased by parents William Stanley and Amelia May Follows and brothers Stanley and Arthur and sister Eileen. He also leaves behind cousins Emma Mitchell, wife of the late Terry Mitchell, Terry and Keem Mitchell, relatives, and niece and family and many dear friends, both in England and overseas. Bill also leaves many friends and colleagues from his career as a watchmaker. Bill is well known for his active contribution to the local community. Having served in the Royal Navy through the 2nd World War, and been decorated for his roles in the Far East during that conflict. Bill has also been a member of the Royal Naval Association and the Burma Star Association. A graveside service is to be held on Thursday 25th June in Bishopstoke Cemetery at 1.00pm Condolences may be shared through A H Rogers and Sons Funeral Directors, 64 Market Street, Eastleigh.
