TOWNEND Christopher Mitchell "Chris" Peacefully at Abbotts Barton Nursing Home on 13th January 2020, aged 85. Much loved husband of Ros, loving father of Peter, Elizabeth (Puff), Paul and Mark and grandpa to Katie and Mitchell. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Service of Thanksgiving at St Barnabas Church, Weeke, on Wednesday 29th January at 2.30pm. No flowers please, donations to benefit either The Gurkha Welfare Trust or SSAFA (The Armed Forces Charity) c/o Richard Steel & Partners, Alderman House, 12-14 City Road, Winchester, SO23 8SD.
