WILBY George Died peacefully at home on 20th June aged 94. Formerly of Alresford. For many years he played cricket for Tichborne Park Cricket Club and was also a well known umpire across Hampshire and a founder member and treasurer of the Hampshire ACO. Funeral has taken place

So sorry to hear of Georges passing, I remember George joining Tichborne Park CC and have fond memories playing with him. George was a great opening bat and a canny spin bowler with a dry wit!. I latter years I came across him in his umpiring role when my sun was playing in the Winchester District colts.
My sincere condolences to his family and feel proud to have known George.
