Anger over plan to pay council staff to park
Eastleigh Bloke wrote:
It should read "Eastleigh Council staff PAY to park" - they are being given £800 for the priveledge of paying £1200 to park. These people took jobs with an organisation that offered free parking, that condition is now being taken away. For all the people that complain that they already have to pay to park - presumably you knew that when you took the job. How would you feel if your working conditions changed, leaving you £1200 worse off?
As for paying the "bonus" to people who walk to work, well thats another mess the lib dems have created. There were easier options available to compensate for change of conditions, but they chose to use this one.
It was obvious this was coming, the lib dems boasted about it in their election literature.
I can't wait to see what happens when staff at other EBC sites find they have to pay to park. No bins emptied?

Oh Dear ! complaining when they have everything for free !They don't see it that way though. They see it as their birth right because they're not from Eastern Europe! We Eastern Europeans that work here can still afford to send a good proportion of our incomes to help our families back home, whilst still living comfortably here. Whilst the British with low incomes, have only themselves to blame if they make their priorities for spending on scratch cards, sky, cigarettes etc. These people create their own problems and are too ignorant to listen to anyone offering financial advice. It would be just too much effort for them to do something for themselves.
