Stephen Curry had an unusually quiet night but the Golden State Warriors did not need him as they beat the Philadelphia 76ers 119-108.

Kevin Durant recorded 27 points as he returned to the line-up and although Curry scored 19 points he went 0 for 11 from three-point range – the worst three-point shooting performance of his career.

Klay Thompson added 21 points and Draymond Green had 14 points, 11 assists and six rebounds for the Warriors. Dario Saric top-scored for the 76ers with 21 points.

LeBron James returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers line-up with a 24-point haul as they returned to winning ways after beating the Milwaukee Bucks 102-95 at Quicken Loans Arena.

James missed Saturday’s defeat to the Chicago Bulls with illness but his return boosted a team that also saw Kyrie Irving weigh in with 25 points. Malcolm Brogdon scored 20 points to lead the Bucks.

Steph’s brother, Seth Curry top-scored with 29 points and Harrison Barnes added 24 to help the Dallas Mavericks to a 96-89 win over the Miami Heat and 21 points from Dennis Schroder led the Atlanta Hawks to a 114-98 victory over the Boston Celtics.

DeMar DeRozan’s jump shot with 1.9 seconds remaining capped a 37-point night as he edged the Toronto Raptors to a 92-91 win over the New York Knicks.

Jeff Teague registered 25 points as the Indiana Pacers rallied from a 17-point first-half deficit to beat the Houston Rockets 117-108, and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Sacramento Kings 102-88.
