A replica model of an Aston Martin DB5 has raised £61,250 for the Tickets for Troops charity at an auction to mark the 50th anniversary of James Bond.
Lord Marland, chairman of Tickets for Troops, said: "We are absolutely overwhelmed with the amount raised for the charity. This is beyond our expectations and helps us to carry on with the fantastic work our team are doing.
"As a charity that relies on individual donations, this money will be invaluable in helping us to deliver more tickets for members of the Armed Forces and their families."
The car was among 50 lots of Bond memorabilia. Forty of them were auctioned online, while a further 10 were auctioned at an invitation-only evening event at Christie's to celebrate Global James Bond Day.
The auction marked the 50th anniversary of the first screening of Dr No. Some of the other charities that will benefit include UNICEF UK, Barnardo's and ChildLine.
The new Bond movie, Skyfall, opens on October 26 starring Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench and Ralph Fiennes.
