A major emergency operation is under way at a farm in Northern Ireland after reports four people fell into a large slurry tank.

Police confirmed that they are investigating claims that four people were injured at the incident in Co Down, but officers have yet to release further details.

Fire and ambulance crews are also at the scene at Drumlough Road outside Hillsborough, close to Belfast.

The alarm was first raised at around 6pm and emergency crews remain at the scene.
