A member of the public living in Lark Rise in Martlesham Heath, Suffolk, called police at around 8.55pm on Friday night reporting concerns for a person living nearby whose family could not get a response from the house.

A post-mortem found that Ms Bartholomew died as a result of significant head injuries.
Last night police charged 42-year-old Scott Ellis from Tunstall Green, Tunstall, near Woodbridge, with murder.
