Police have appealed for information to trace a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing on Thursday night.
Kerry Goddard was last seen at around 10pm in the Hereford area but has not been in contact with family or friends since, sparking fears for her welfare.
Superintendent Mark Travis, of West Mercia Police, said intensive inquiries and searches in the local area had failed to locate Kerry.
The officer added: "It is the first time Kerry has gone missing like this and bearing in mind her age we are very concerned for her welfare.
"She is not in any trouble but clearly we need to establish her safety and would appeal to her or anyone who knows where she is or who she is with to get in touch with us immediately.
"We also want to speak to anyone who may have seen her or had any form of contact with her since 10pm last night."
Kerry, who appears to be older than 12, is 5ft 6in and well-spoken with blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a grey hooded top.
